Mental Health & Emotional Wellbeing
Compassionate mental health counselling in Adelaide for life’s challenges—big and small.
Sometimes life gets heavy. Relationships fracture, anxiety builds, grief settles in without being invited, and the version of yourself you thought you knew starts to feel unfamiliar. You don’t need a diagnosis or a crisis to seek support — you just need a space where you can think, feel and begin to find your way. Counselling and psychotherapy with me is a collaborative, integrative process built around you. We work at your pace, drawing on a range of evidence-based approaches to help you make sense of what’s happening, understand the patterns that might be keeping you stuck, and move toward the life you actually want.
This isn’t about being fixed. It’s about being met — and from there, finding what’s possible. You are the expert of your own life. Every session honours this truth. My role is to walk alongside you, ensuring that each step forward reflects your intentions, your pace and your comfort.
Mental health support
Your mental health matters. You deserve support that sees the whole of you—not just a diagnosis, a difficult experience, or the part of life that feels hardest right now. Counselling can offer space to pause, make sense of what is happening, and find ways to move forward that feel right for you.
I can support you with:
- Life transitions, change, uncertainty, and unexpected challenges.
- Depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.*
- Stress, overwhelm, burnout, and strengthening resilience.
- Neurodivergence-affirming support.
- LGBTQIA+ affirming counselling.
- Experiences from childhood that continue to affect you in adult life.
- Grief, loss, and significant life changes.
- Identity, including culture, values, relationships, and sense of self.
- Anxiety connected with dating, relationships, intimacy, or feeling close to others.
- Workplace bullying, harassment, or difficult workplace experiences.
- Emotional wellbeing and mental health concerns across all genders.
How the work unfolds — There is no fixed formula for therapy. We will work collaboratively, at a pace that feels manageable for you, and return to what matters most as your needs change.
Grounding and foundations — We begin by getting to know each other, understanding what has brought you to counselling, and building a foundation of safety, trust, and practical support.
Exploration and understanding — As the work develops, we can make sense of patterns, experiences, relationships, and the meanings you have made of them—without assuming that every difficult experience needs to be labelled or pathologised.
Integration and growth — Over time, the focus may shift toward bringing new understanding into everyday life: responding to yourself differently, strengthening relationships, and making choices that fit more closely with your values and needs.
*The wide spectrum of mental and behavioural health conditions cannot be individually listed here. Please know that wherever you are, you will be heard and included.
