My Space

It can be hard to explore our challenging thoughts and heal in traditional medical spaces. Sterile surroundings, uncomfortable furniture, and a lack of privacy can be huge barriers: that’s why at Polysoma, I give you the space to feel comfortable.

Introducing the space

Polysoma is a re-imagined mind-body health sanctuary. Picture stepping into a modern, inviting lounge rather than a cold waiting area where you’re just another person.

When you enter Polysoma—which is located inside Good Hub at Goodwood, just 5 minutes from the City of Adelaide —you’ll be greeted by soothing music and a sense of tranquillity. It’s a peaceful setting, where you’ll be immersed in natural, calming colours, in a space crafted to evoke emotional connection that’s conducive to healing. You’ll also notice subtle, calming fragrances from Ashley & Co® which help to create a relaxing atmosphere.*

When it comes to counselling and psychotherapy, healing is so much more than just what we say: it’s also about calming your senses. Our beautiful space is designed to enhance your physical and emotional well-being. And there are no waiting rooms. Instead, you’ll be personally welcomed and attended to by me, at your designated appointment time.

Access and inclusion

Polysoma prides itself on having an accessible and inclusive space. There is wheelchair access and designated parking for clients with disability. While the restroom signage indicates male and female gender, the spaces themselves are gender neutral. Each toilet and wash space is private. Washrooms are accessible to individuals of all genders and disabilities.

Hydration and refreshments

To help you relax and feel comfortable, I offer a range of complementary refreshments for your appointment. Choose from a range of premium all-natural Australian-made StrangeLove® beverages, including still and sparkling mineral water, or even a subtly flavoured mandarin soda made with Australian mineral water from Victoria’s Macedon ranges. If you’re craving warmth, I also offer a variety of soothing herbal teas. Alternatively, if you’re seeking a caffeinated pick-me-up, our local barista at Metta Sol has an array of beverages that can hit the spot. If coffee’s what you’re after.

*Of course if you have hyperosmia, or sensory issues to fragrances, let me know, I will accomodate your needs.
