Sex Therapy, Sex Education, Sexology
It takes a special kind of practitioner to work in the sexual wellness space. Most health care professionals don’t have the capacity to work in the manner I do. And if you’ve been looking for someone, you’ve come to the right place.
My professional passion is sexology. Human sexuality is a fascinating and complex field that I enjoy and care about. I have extensive education and training working with sexual concerns such as: sexual trauma, the sexual body, concerns with genitals, adult sex education, I comprehend the cultural and political dimensions of sexuality, gender, body based consent, various aspects of sexuality like kinks, and any other sexual challenges you can think of.
I wholeheartedly support everyone’s individual sexual needs and preferences. I find fulfilment in assisting clients with navigating through complex sexual concerns. When you share your concerns with me, rest assured that judgment is the last thing on my mind. There’s no room for judgment, shame, or stigma in my space. Instead, I adopt a curious and open-minded approach when working with your concerns.
I approach my work from the lens of sex positivity-focused on sexual rights.
Everyone has sexual rights. The freedom to feel, receive and give pleasure that is safe and consensual. And the right not to feel sexual. Sexuality and expression is normal for everyone. I endorse the principles outlined in the declarations by the World Association for Sexual Health (WAS), such as the WAS Declaration of Sexual Rights and the Declaration on Sexual Pleasure, which is accessible here. Here’s some additional information about embodying sex positivity.
