Pain
Living with chronic pain is incredibly challenging. I have a unique perspective that enables me to provide you with various approaches to managing your pain, particularly in a trauma-informed way.
There’s nothing worse than reaching out for help and feeling dismissed, belittled, or like you’re not being heard. I want you to know that I’m here to support you without judgment. And your pain is real. While I can’t magically make your pain disappear (and be wary of anyone who claims they can). I can definitely offer you a fresh perspective and insight into working with your pain.
My work with pain is informed by a biopsychosocial and neuroplastic approach. Which means I understand that there is never a single cause for your pain. Pain is incredibly complex. And realistically it takes many professionals to help you recover, and recovery looks different for everyone.
Were you aware that having someone who listens attentively to your pain journey can actually make you feel better about it?
I can offer you tools and techniques based on the latest clinical pain science to help you manage your pain better. I use approaches like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) for Pain. I am equipped with the latest advancements and insights in clinical pain science from training with the NOI Group. This includes a variety of educational tools that can help you learn more about reframing and making sense of your pain.
