Feedback & Complaints
As a professional I am mindful of my practice and always looking to grow. Receiving feedback — whether positive or constructive — is something I genuinely value. It helps me reflect, improve and continue providing the best possible care.
Giving feedback
I ask all clients to voluntarily complete a feedback questionnaire after we have worked together. You’re also welcome to share feedback at any time during our work — informally in session or in writing if you prefer.
Making a complaint
If you have a concern or have experienced a therapeutic challenge, I would sincerely appreciate you reaching out to me directly in the first instance. I am committed to addressing any issues openly, honestly and without defensiveness.
If your concerns persist or you believe there has been a breach of professional ethics, you are welcome to contact the following organisations:
- Australian Counselling Association — professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists.
- Society of Australian Sexologists — professional body for sexologists and sex therapists.
- Health and Community Services Complaints Commissioner (HCSCC) — independent South Australian government authority for health and community services complaints. Free, confidential and impartial. Phone: 1800 232 007.
Your feedback matters
This practice exists to serve you. If something hasn’t felt right, I want to know — not to defend myself, but because genuine accountability is part of what it means to practise ethically.
